Al-Alamein New City Promenade

Al-Alamein New city, one of the fourth generation cities being built in Egypt, is located on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, and is designed to be fully sustainable and functional year around with a target population of close to half a million.

The promenade is the new city’s coastal waterfront providing the first public access to the seashore and serves as the link to the city’s central gardens and internal activities. It extends from Marina resort to the new Presidential Palace.  The landscape design offers wide open spaces with pedestrian and bike paths set in lush green settings with strategically located seating areas along the promenade’s entire length with special pavings accentuating transitional areas. Planned facilities and services will be aptly situated to meet the needs of residents and visitors alike. The touristic promenade will have a distinctive architectural design that varies from classic to modern in complete harmony with its natural and built surroundings.
