Sites International with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Galala CIty

Sites International’s Galala project team were all invited on Friday April 15, to witness the initiation of construction work on the new site. Dr. Maher Stino, founder of Sites International, Eng. Osama Fathi, Project Manager, and Eng. Ahmed AbdulAal, Site Supervision Manager met with President El-Sisi on site to discuss the latest updates.

Dr. Stino presented President El-Sisi the latest design developments with samples of finished construction works, completed within a challenging time frame. The presentation captured the attention of all those present and gained the approval of the president.

Galala City is a 17000 acre new city located on a 650m high mountain on the coast of the Red Sea, with a vertical drop of 200m at the edge. Sites International is working on the Master Plan of the first implemented phase, about 2050 acres. The firm is currently completing the internal roads and infrastructure, and made huge strives on Landscape works in the city promenade and the complete design of two touristic villages.

The promenade runs along the northern boundary of the new city, overlooking the sea. It is approximately 6km in length offering seating areas, walking and cycling tracks and restaurants. The site will provide a cable car descending a distance of 650m to sea level and surrounding communities.

With serene picturesque views and stunning sustainable designs Galala City is rumored to be a hotspot in the making. The city would operate as a tourist and residential destination with a large hiring potential, creating many job opportunities for the citizens of Egypt.
