Regional Director of UNESCO Cairo office visits the Grand Transformation Site in the city of Saint Catherine, Sinai, Egypt
Sites International continues to make exciting progress as the main consultant for the master planning, landscape architecture, architecture, engineering, and site supervision of the Grand Transformation Site in the city of Saint Catherine, Sinai, Egypt.
Our design vision is centered on sustainability and aims to preserve the natural environment, local heritage, and attract tourists while boosting the local economy.
On 26/08/2023 Nuria Sanz, Regional Director of UNESCO’s Cairo Office, visited the project and expressed her appreciation for the design vision of transforming Saint Catherine into a model green city that is in harmony with the surrounding environment.

كلفت شركتنا الاستشارية سايتس انترناشيونال بمشروع تطوير موقع التجلى الأعظم بمدينة سانت كاترين بسيناء، وذلك بهدف تحقيق الاستدامة والحفاظ على البيئة الطبيعية للمدينة والتراث المحلي وجذب السياح مع رفع العائد الاقتصادي للسكان المحلين
و في يوم ٢٦/٠٨/٢٠٢٣ قامت السيدة نوريا سانز المديرة الإقليمية لمكتب اليونسكو في القاهرة بزيارة المشروع وتفقد مكوناته على أرض الواقع، وقد أعربت السيدة نوريا سانز عن إعجابها الكبير بالمشروع ومدى تحقيقه لاهداف الحفاظ ومبادئ الاستدامة وعدم تشويه الطبيعية واحترامها .
ويهدف المشروع إلى تحويل مدينة سانت كاترين إلى نموذج للمدينة الخضراء، التي تتماشى مع البيئة المحيطة.
