Sites International with Egypt’s President, El-Sisi, during his latest visit to Galala

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on February 2, 2018 met Dr. Maher Stino in Galala City as his Excellency toured the site and was briefed on the latest developments to date. The president hailed the efforts exerted in implementing the project within in a very tight time schedule  while upholding the highest quality standards.

Galala city is  located on the highest mount plateau in the Red Sea area between Ain Sokhna and Zafarana, 650 meters above sea level. The new city centers on a balanced approach towards development and preservation of the surrounding pristine environment. The master plan  focuses on developing a sustainable, dynamic,  and mixed use area based on a framework of: land use, public land transportation and road systems, and public spaces that integrate the existing ecological conditions. The city will offer residential areas, including the highly prized modestly priced housing, a major university, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, commercial, cultural, religious, medical, educational, and touristic villages.  All these activities are tightly interconnected with network of pathways, roads and open green spaces.  A new road is currently being built  connecting Ain Sokhna to Zaafarana through the Galala plateau.
