Hyde Park Garden Heights

New Cairo, Egypt

Garden Heights is a self sufficient, mixed use residential development located in New Cairo, situated at 350 meters above sea level.

It contains a vast spectrum of residential, retail, medical, and recreational facilities. Garden Heights is the most prominent parcel in the Hyde Park residential plan. It spreads across approximately 700 acres of which 440 are for roadscape and open spaces that lavishly connect and surround all project zones.

Sites International developed the landscape design, from the concept stage to construction document, for all common areas and spaces. The design provides a fully functional project that demonstrates compatibility of planting materials with local environmental conditions, promotes water conservation and low-toxicity maintenance while preserving a well linked system to enclose all facets of the project with ample greenery highlighted with reflective pools, calming lighting and beautiful retaining walls. Sites international coordinated all other design specialties to ensure synchronization of details, systems requirements and installations.

Residential areas offer unique architectural designs portraying, for instance, the elegance of 1920’s Parisian Concorde. The Landscape design captured the spirit and elegance of the era in their selection of walkways, flowering shrubs, signage and water features. Each and every residential lot has direct access to open green areas bypassing any back to back village building arrangement. All residential areas have extended views of the Central Park.

Located on the highest elevation of the project, Central Park’s design concept is organized along two main pedestrian spines ending in two landmark commercial buildings at both ends. Visitors walking the palm shaded pedestrian spines, experience a variety of open spaces, topographic features, lakes, pools and shaded green areas. It is a major attraction for residents and visitors alike.
